Appointment of District Court Judge Wendy Gillan

District Court Judge Wendy Gillan was appointed as a supplementary Deputy President of the State Administrative Tribunal in August 2026. Her Honour has been a judge of the District Court of Western Australia since 2018. As a supplementary Deputy President Judge Gillan will hear and determine matters across all streams at the Tribunal. Her Honour will divide her time between sitting in the Tribunal and the District Court.

Amendments to the State Administrative Tribunal Regulations 2004 (WA)

Amendments have been made to the State Administrative Tribunal Regulations 2004 (WA) as a consequence of the transfer to SAT of the Liquor Commission of Western Australia’s review and disciplinary responsibilities set out under the Liquor Control Act 1988 (WA). The amendments commenced operation on 1 July 2026.
