Vocational and Regulation Decisions Bulletin (Jan 2008 - Jul 2014)

SAT, amongst other things, has jurisdiction under a significant number of Acts of State Parliament to review decisions of vocational regulation bodies and determine applications made by these bodies for disciplinary orders. The orders made as a result of matters settling, whether through mediation or otherwise, are publicly available on SAT’s website as orders resulting from final hearings.

Quarterly bulletins for vocational regulation decisions were published from April 2009 to June 2014 and contain summaries of all written reasons.

The first three bulletins to January 2009, provide a brief indication of SAT’s activities in the vocational regulation area for the respective periods. These first three bulletins contain, in respect of vocational regulation:

  • Summaries of written reasons for decisions published between 1 January 2008 and 30 June 2008;
  • A list of decisions pending in SAT as at 1 July 2008;
  • A list of matters in which final orders were made by SAT between 1 January 2008 and 30 June 2008;
  • A list of appeals decided by the Supreme Court or Court of Appeal between 1 January 2008 and 30 June 2008; and
  • A list of appeals pending in the Supreme Court or Court of Appeal as at 1 July 2008.

The full text of all decisions published since 1 January 2005 can be found on the Decisions Database of the website, if you wish to search decisions, please click the following link Decisions Database.
